Virtue of the Month
At St. Mary of the Angels School, virtue is lived daily. Students embrace the Virtue of the Month through skits, peer recognition & classroom integration. Teachers & parents reinforce values like gratitude, perseverance & truthfulness, fostering character growth & personal vocation.
Building Character Through Faith and Virtue
Strolling down our hallways you will witness the virtue: you will see it displayed on our bulletin boards, hear it throughout our classrooms and experience it in the demeanor of our students and staff. Our students make the Virtue of the Month their own, performing virtue skits, identifying fellow students who emulate the virtue, making the virtue resonate in their lives. Teachers incorporate it into their lessons and reinforce virtuous behaviors in students, as they too work to live it better themselves. Parents have the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas and experiences in living the virtue as a family. The result is a wonderful blossoming of each child’s gift of freedom as they discover and pursue their own personal vocation.
